The Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapter from Waverly High School showcased their exceptional talents at the State Leadership Conference held in Rochester last week.
With nine members competing in a total of 17 events, the team demonstrated their dedication and expertise across multiple categories.
A highlight of the conference was the announcement that three members — Grace Spaulding, Dakota Rosh, and Savannah Savercool — have earned the opportunity to represent Waverly High School at the FBLA National Leadership Conference. This prestigious event will take place in Anaheim, California, at the end of June.
Adding to the excitement, Grace Spaulding will also be vying for the esteemed position of District 8 State Vice President. District 8 encompasses the counties of Broome, Chenango, Delaware, Otsego, and Tioga, making this a significant opportunity for both Grace and the Waverly FBLA chapter.
“The entire Waverly community is beaming with pride over the outstanding achievements of these young leaders. The journey to Nationals and the leadership campaign are sure to be filled with further accomplishments. Best of luck to Grace, Dakota, and Savannah as they take on Anaheim and beyond,” a press release from the Waverly School District said.
