Tioga County Declared A Federal Disaster Area After The Storms

Due to the rain storms of April and May, Tioga County has been declared a federal disaster area for infrastructure damage, according to the Director of the Tioga County Emergency Management Office, Dick LeCount.  LeCount explains what this will mean for Tioga County and its taxpayers.

LeCount added that the State has not been declared for damages done to private residences and homeowners still need aid for damages, they should contact their federal representative and have them push for FEMA to give the homeowners individual assistance.
