A press conference was held yesterday to discuss the upcoming Tioga County Job Fair. According to organizers, a total of 55 employers will be present at this event, and looking to hire. The Tioga County Job Fair has been a dream for Sheri McCall of the Tioga Employment Center for years. Starting such an event though, has required extensive collaboration among several Tioga County entities, including the Tioga County Chamber of Commerce and the Tioga County Legislature. During yesterday’s press conference, McCall was sure to clarify that this event was meant for job seekers of all sorts: This includes people who are unemployed, those who are looking to switch jobs, and those who are simply looking to make a change in their life.
Again, the Tioga County Job Fair will be on Tuesday, March 10th from 10AM to 2PM at the Treadway Inn in Owego.
