The Tioga County Legislature will honor the 2018 Institute for Advancement participants on December 5th at 1PM. The Institute was formed after a county analysis determined that 40% of all County employees are currently retirement eligible, 100% of essential employees are currently retirement eligible in five departments and 50% or more essential employees are currently retirement eligible in another five departments. The Institute is intended to develop the skills of existing County employees and enhance their ability to advance within the County. A yearlong training program was implemented beginning in January 2018.
