The Tioga County Sheriff’s Office along with the Tioga County Public Health Department will participate in the DEA’s National Prescription Drug Take Back Initiative this weekend.
Residents can drop off over the counter and prescription medications along with syringes and needles as long as they are in a sealed sharps container.
No liquids, illegal drugs or medical devices will be accepted. Check out the attached picture for a complete list of what is accepted.
The drug take back event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Tioga County Health and Human Services Building located at 1062 State Route 38 in Owego. This is a drive thru event.
