Tioga Deputies Arrest Men for Larceny and DWI

The Tioga County Sheriff’s Office reports two recent arrests. In one case, deputies arrested 29-year-old Kirk Shultis of Spencer. He was charged with felony grand larceny. The charge resulted from a report of stolen scrap metal and cold patch road repair materials from the Candor Town Barns. Shultis was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Village of Candor Court at a later date.

 

In another case, deputies arrested a man they say was traveling 98 mph in a 55 zone in the town of Owego. Placed under arrest was 33-year-old William Stringer II of Conklin. He was also charged with driving while intoxicated, felony 1st degree aggravated unlicensed
operation, and speeding. Stringer will appear in town of Owego court next Thursday.
