In partnership with National Weather Service, Nurture Nature Center of Easton, Pa., will host two focus groups in the Tioga County area about flood and
river forecast products. These focus groups will provide feedback to the National Weather Sservice to help improve their products for the community. A session for interested Tioga County residents who are at least 18 years of age will be held 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24 at the Owego Treadway, 1100 NY-17C, Owego. Participants in this session will be paid $50 for their time and input.
A second session for emergency management and water resource professionals will be held on Thursday, April 25 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Tioga County Emergency Management Office.
