Walter R. Vanderpoel, age 44, of 121 Straits Corners Road, Candor, is facing 12 charges after investigation of a motor vehicle crash to the Town of Tioga.
Tioga County sheriff’s deputies arrested Vanderpoel in the early morning of December 30 for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in 3rd Degree for Value exceeding $3,000; Unlawful Possession of Marijuana; Moved from Lane Unsafely; Speed not Reasonable and Prudent; Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 3rd Degree; Aggravated Unlicensed Operator 2nd Degree; Unlicensed Operator; Operating Out of Class; Unregistered Motorcycle; Improper Motorcycle Plates; Uninspected Motor Vehicle; and Operating without Insurance.
These charges resulted from an investigation of a motor vehicle accident on Ballou Road in the Town of Tioga. Vanderpoel was issued tickets to appear before Justice Shelly Bogart, Town of Tioga Court, in late January.
