The Tioga United Way, in conjunction with the Town and Village of Owego, is launching a Hometown Heroes Banner Program.
This will be a living tribute for our community to honor past and present members of the Armed Forces, First Responders, and their family members.
The cost is estimated to be around $225 per banner, and they will be displayed on poles around the Village of Owego.
The current plan calls for the family to provide a headshot for the banner of the person being honored, in uniform. This is open to anyone in the Village or Town of Owego.
