Around 9:30 Thursday morning, a fire took place along Ellis Creek Road in the Town of Tioga. Fire crews from Hallsey Valley and Tioga were called to the scene for a barn fire. The barn was once a goat barn, but it’s been confirmed that no animals were injured in the fire. Firefighters used a pond on the property to supply water. The fire was caused by heat tape on a water line.
