Jury Selection Began Yesterday in Tioga Homicide Trial

Jury selection began yesterday in the murder trial of the Town of Tioga man accused of stabbing his housemate to death. Douglas Every is accused of stabbing and killing his housemate Milton Jump in October 2013. The Tioga County Sheriff’s Office responded to Every’s 911 call, and found Jump dead in the kitchen of the two men’s Thorn Hollow Road home. The sheriff’s office said the men were arguing when Every stabbed Jump in the chest. Every is charged with second degree murder and tampering with evidence. Jury selection continues today in Tioga County Court.
