Tioga County Tourism (TCT) and the Tioga County Chamber of Commerce (TCCC) announce Tioga To-Go, a campaign to promote carry-out, delivery, curbside pick-up and online ordering offered by Tioga County restaurants. Tioga To-Go is supported by Tioga County Legislative Chair, Martha Sauerbrey.
“With indoor dining capacity still restricted and colder temperatures limiting outdoor dining, our Tioga County restaurants have been strengthening their take-out options. Getting take-out is a great way to treat yourself and your family while safely supporting local businesses,” said Sauerbrey.
There are over 50 restaurants in Tioga County offering take-out. “For a small county, we have a surprising number of restaurants with a variety of delicious food to choose from,” said Andrew Hafer, President and CEO of the Tioga County Chamber of Commerce.
Tioga To-Go includes a website that is organized by location and has direct links to menus and a Google map so users can pick out their order or browse to find a new place to try. “Tiogatogo.com is the one-stop spot to figure out what’s for breakfast, lunch or dinner,” said Rebecca Maffei, Director of Tioga County Tourism.
At tiogatogo.com you can search by different towns and villages around the county to view menus and go directly to restaurant Facebook pages to see what their daily specials are. “We wanted to make it easy for people in our community to find online menus and look for new places to try around the county. We hope people will visit tiogatogo.com and also follow our Facebook page, @tiogatogo to participate in contests, share their favorite take-out meals and learn more about how they can support these local businesses,” said Maffei.
