The Town of Barton is asking for the public’s help in catching some individuals who are causing damage in the town.
The town is offering a $500 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction of any individuals dumping household items or garbage in the Town of Barton right-of-way.
These acts are in direct violation of the Town of Barton’s local law relating to the dumping of solid waste.
The town is also offering a $500 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction of any individuals cutting down trees, causing intentional road blockings in the Town of Barton.
Such instances are deemed to pose an imminent hazard to the public health, safety and welfare of the residents of the Town of Barton.
