The Village of Nichols Board of Trustees is seeking help from the Tioga County Sheriff’s Office. After last week’s string of burglaries and collision of a car into a fence a Kirby Park by minors, Village of Nichols Trustees are looking to once again enforce a curfew. The curfew, which was never officially revoked, was passed by Village lawmakers in the year 2000, and calls for all individuals under the age of 18 to stay off of the streets from 11pm until 6am unless accompanied by an adult.

New York State Police have already declined the Village’s request to help enforce the curfew.
