The Waverly Police Department is searching for a man who was recently convicted for his role in a fentanyl overdose involving an infant.
Waverly police is asking for help in locating 49-year-old Timothy Ronald Henry after he failed to appear at a sentencing hearing on Thursday, Aug. 22nd.
Henry was convicted of assault in the third degree, reckless endangerment in the second degree and endangering the welfare of a child.
In October of last year, an 8-month-old child was flown to Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pa. for critical medical care after first responders found him not breathing at a Broad Street residence.
During the treatment and investigation into the incident the infant was found to have the drug fentanyl in her system. The infant survived the incident.
