A proposition to renovate libraries in the Waverly Central School District was narrowly passed by voters yesterday. The vote was 138-125 in favor of the project to renovate both the middle and high school libraries at the school district. Superintendant of Schools Dr. Randy Richard said he is “very pleased to announce that the Library Commons vote passed” and thanked the voters for their support. The renovation project is expected to cost about $2.5 million.
