Waverly Police have announced the arrest of two people following a traffic stop on Chemung Street in the Village last Monday. 43-year-old Ronald Giggee and 30-year-old Kimberly Shaffer were charged with felony Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, and a misdemeanor Possession charge. They were both passengers in the stopped vehicle. They were found to be in possession of 4 baggies of methamphetamine and 3 plastic containers of meth. The total weight of the methamphetamine was 7.9 grams. Both were also found to be illegally possessing three cut up suboxone strips. They were sent to the Tioga County Jail to await further legal action. Bail was set at $15,000 cash or $20,000 property bond.
