Several of the leaders from Tioga County had a briefing at noon on Thursday regarding the rain and the flooding that has been hitting the area extremely hard in the last few days. Tioga County Sheriff Gary Howard says that there was good news coming out of the briefing that they went into with a couple of major concerns.

The next chance for precipitation is tomorrow, but with only a spotty shower or two. When traveling in the next couple of days, motorists are reminded that now there will be maintenance needed to be done, to pay extra attention to all road closures, detours and other traffic signs posted.
