The Tioga United Way’s 2nd annual Dancing United with the Starz fundraiser was held over the weekend. Over 300 people were in attendance of this year’s sell-out fundraiser at the Owego Treadway Banquet and Conference Center. Two awards were up for grabs.
The “Judge’s Choice Award” was taken home by Jeri Sarrge of Realty Solutions Group and her dance instructor Frank Cuomo of Cuomo Law Offices.
The “People’s Choice Award” was won by Ike Lovelass of the Owego Kitchen and his dance instructor Karen Harriell of Tioga Opportunities.
The Tioga United Way will be working today to calculate the total amount of proceeds raised through this weekend’s fundraiser.
