Tuesday is Budget Vote Day for all school districts in New York, including those in Tioga County. Besides the budget vote, residents in each of the county’s six school districts will be asked to elect board members and purchase or lease new school buses. Budget information is available on each district’s website.
- In Candor, voting will be held from noon to 9pm in the High School
- In Newark Valley, district residents will vote from noon to 8pm in the High School
- Owego-Apalachin voters can head to the polls between noon and 8pm at either the Apalachin Elementary School or Owego Free Academy
- In Spencer-Van Etten, district residents can vote from noon to 8pm in the High School
- In Tioga, voting will be held between 11am and 8pm in the Middle School Gymnasium
- In Waverly, residents can cast their vote in the Middle School from 12-8pm
