The severe weather experienced through the region Sunday produced an EF-1 tornado in Schuyler County. The National Weather Service has confirmed that the tornado touched down shortly after 4:30 Sunday in the Town of Reading. Maximum wind speeds were estimated at 105 miles per hour. No injuries were reported as a result of the tornado but there was extensive damage to at least one home, blown out car windows, and uprooted trees. The tornado left a path of destruction about a half mile long and 125 yards wide.
