Towanda man faces 8-year PA prison term for burglaries and receiving stolen property

(Towanda, PA) – Bradford County District Attorney Albert C. Ondrey reported Samuel Ackley, 60 of Towanda, Pa., was recently sentenced in Bradford County Court of Common Pleas to incarceration in a Pennsylvania State Correctional Facility for 42 months to 96 months; fines of $2,000, plus court costs; restitution of $10,490.28 for the offenses of two counts of third-degee felony trespassing; one count of second-degree felony burglary, not at home/no one present; and one misdemeanor count of receiving stolen property.

Chief Randy Epler, Officer Ryan Edsell, Sgt. David Lantz and Officer Joshua Lake,of the Towanda Borough Police Department, arrested Ackley for the offenses occurring on February 18 through April 1, 2022.
