Two Sayre School District staff members passed away this week in separate incidents. As we reported yesterday, wrestling coach Chad Sindoni died in a one-car crash Tuesday morning in the Town of Tioga. Sindoni’s vehicle left the roadway for unknown reasons and collided with a tree. The accident is still under investigation.
In a separate incident, Sayre High School math teacher Nicholas Sikora died unexpectedly on Monday. Sayre Area School Superintendent Sherry Griggs has publicly called the loss of these faculty members “tragic,” and has asked the community to keep those close to these faculty members in their thoughts and prayers.
