Two women were arrested on felony drug charges related to heroin. The Broome County Special Investigations Unit executed a search warrant Thursday afternoon at 83 Grand Avenue in Johnson City. 31-year-old Angela Tippet of Syracuse and 22-year-old Melody Anderson of Johnson City are both being charged following the search.
Investigators found 356 envelopes of heroin, along with packaging materials, marijuana, and $2,300 in cash. Both women have prior records for selling heroin, and both have now been charged with two felony counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance and using drug paraphernalia. Both were arraigned and sent to the Broome County jail without bail.
