Veterans Day in Owego set for Friday at VFW and on Your Hometown Station WEBO

(Owego, NY) – Veterans Day 2022 service starts at 11 a.m. Friday, in Glenn A. Warner Memorial Hall of Post 1371 Veterans of Foreign Wars. Your Hometown Station WEBO will broadcast live starting at 11 a.m. on all five frequencies

Gen. John J. Pershing sounded taps at 11 a.m. on November 11, 1918, signaling the end of fighting in World War I. VFW Honor Guard Bugler Steve Polinsky will blow Taps at 11 a.m. to open the program. Posting of the Colors, National Anthem by Bugler and Invocation by Deacon Michael Donovan.
