(Waverly, NY) – On Thursday, November 10, at 12:35 p.m., Waverly received a report of a suspicious vehicle parked in the Waverly Glen Park, 85 Moore St., Waverly.
Officers responded to the park and with the assistance of Waverly-Barton Fire Department, New York State Park Police and New York State Forest Rangers started a search and rescue effort in the park area.
A body of a deceased male was found in the park area.
At this point no foul play indicated, according to Waverly police Sgt. Mark E. Mitchell.
The family of the deceased individual has been advised of the death.
