An agreement has been made between the Waverly Central School District and organizers of the Waverly Recreation Department’s Small Fry Football League. The agreement surrounds how much the school district will charge the little league for use of its stadium during the summer months. The little league team will pay a total of about $1,500 for use of the school’s stadium next summer, with $1,000 of that cost being a security deposit. The team had originally been told that they’d have to pay $5,700 earlier this year.
In year’s prior, the little league could use the stadium for free, but after being forced to a contingency budget, the school must now charge for the use of its stadium.
