A wind chill advisory is in effect in our area now through Tuesday afternoon. The advisory ranges from Central New York down to Northeast Pennsylvania. Wind chill readings are expected to be anywhere from 15 to 24 degrees below zero. Winds will range from 10 to 15 miles per hour with 25 mile per hour gusts. The wind chill could cause frostbite in thirty minutes or less. Any exposed skin should be covered.
