Winter Storm Warning Remains in Effect until 7AM Monday

A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 7AM EST Monday.
* Locations: portions of The Finger lakes… southern tier of New York… Bradford County Pennsylvania and the northern
Susquehanna region.
* Hazards: snowfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour possible overnight. Winds gusting to 30 mph will cause drifting snow and near zero visibility at times.
* Accumulations: 9 to 14 inches possible by daybreak.
* Timing: heavy snow will continue through midnight before beginning to taper off.
* Temperatures: falling through the 20s.
* Impacts: heavy snow accumulations will make for treacherous travel overnight.
Precautionary/preparedness actions…
A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow… sleet… and ice are expected or occurring. Strong winds are also possible. This will make travel very hazardous or impossible.
