Police have arrested Theresa Saunders, 23, of Johnson City for 3rd degree robbery.
Saunders entered a hotel room at the Knights Inn in Endicott and attempted to steal the occupant’s purse.
The victim fought the suspect, was injured, and taken to Lourdes Hospital.
Saunders was later arrested by Johnson City Police and is in the Broome County jail.
The victims injuries are believed to be minor.
