The Wyalusing School District has announced the elimination of seven more positions in an attempt to balance the budget. Six teachers and a counselor will not be returning to work next school year. This is only the most recent staff cuts in what has been months of restructuring. Despite even these most recent cuts, the district is still in the red financially. Funding cuts are being cited as a major reason for the imbalanced budget this year.
