A group of local veterans were honored last weekend during the 10th annual Patriots in the Park event.
During the event at Mount Pisgah State Park, veterans Tom Porter, Tom Brown, Dan Brown and Mike Keagan were presented with Quilts of Valor.
Since 2016, the Bradford County Quilts of Valor organization has made and presented over 300 quilts to local veterans.
State Representative Tina Pickett, Bradford County Commissioner Daryl Miller and a representative from State Senator Gene Yaw’s Office were on hand for the special presentation.
