The Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office have arrested Kelly Shaff, 27, of Freeville for felony Rape and felony Criminal Sexual Act.
The arrest Stemmed from an investigation into allegations of sexual intercourse between an adult over the age of 21 and a victim under the age of 15.
The alleged incident occurred at Shaff’s residence on or about the 20th of February.
Due to the age of the victim and the nature of the complaint, the victim’s name will not be released.
Shaff was arraigned in the Town of Dryden Court and was remanded to the Tompkins County Jail in lieu of $100,000 cash/500,000 Secured Bond.
He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Dryden Court on March 7, 2011 at 6:00 PM.
