On Tuesday, the Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office was awarded $13,100.00 in grant funding.
The Sheriff’s Office sought the funding to purchase video-surveillance equipment.
The money consists of federal funds administered by the State of New York.
The Sheriff’s Office was able to purchase the equipment without using county funds.
