UHS to Honor Its Volunteers at Tuesday Banquet

UHS will mark National Volunteer Week by honoring the women, men and teenagers who give of their time as healthcare volunteers during the year. It happens April 7-13.

 

The volunteers come from an array of backgrounds and work in nearly every department at the hospitals and in the senior living areas. During the past year, 488 volunteers gave more than 58,000 hours of service throughout UHS Binghamton General Hospital, UHS Wilson Medical Center and UHS Senior
Living.

 

With the theme of “UHS Volunteers Always Needed Forever Appreciated,” the volunteers will be honored at a special recognition banquet, on Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Traditions at the Glen.
