WATKINS GLEN — The Watkins Glen Italian Festival will not happen in 2024 after the event’s committee was unable to secure an amusement ride company.
According to a post on their Facebook page, the Italian American Festival Committee said they had exhausted their efforts to obtain amusement rides for this year’s festival. Unfortunately scheduling conflicts with the companies made it impossible with the festival’s venue.
The group said they are committed to bringing a quality festival to the community and have listened to everyone’s concerns regarding the lack of rides, which has greatly impacted this decision.
The committee will now work towards planning the 2025 Watkins Glen Italian Festival. Check out their Facebook page for more information.
