Wegmans has added a new tool to make grocery shopping easier for those in a time crunch. About a year ago, the grocer teamed up with Instacart and began providing home delivery. Now Wegmans is offering Curbside pickup. Curbside pickup orders are placed using the InstaCart platform but unlike home delivery, there is no fee or gratuity necessary for curb side pickup. Shoppers simply drive by the store to pick up their groceries, with an employee loading the bags into the car. The new service is currently only being offered at 12 stores, including the Johnson City location.
