A man is facing several charges after an all-day standoff in Schuyler County on Wednesday.

According to the Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office, 43-year-old Dennis Thompson was arrested on Wednesday after a standoff with police at his home.

Police were responding to the 3700 block of Cross Road in the Town of Reading just after 9 a.m. on Wednesday for a report of a one-car accident. Thompson allegedly yelled at deputies from the front porch of his home on Cross Road.
