An 18-year-old was killed in a fatal motorcycle accident in Wayland on Thursday, Sept. 12.
The accident occurred shortly after 7:30 p.m. on State Route 63 in Wayland.
According to the New York State Police, 18-year-old Ryder Whitman from Dansville, New York was killed when his motorcycle hit a car head on when he attempted to pass another vehicle in a no-passing zone.
Police said the victim was ejected from his bike. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the car was taken to a local hospital for minor injuries.
