The Cornell University student who threatened to kill fellow students who were Jewish back in October has pleaded guilty to federal charges.

According to WENY-TV, 21-year-old Patrick Dai pleaded guilty to a charge of posting threats to kill or injure another using interstate communications.

Dai was a junior at Cornell when he posted the threats on an online discussion forum, including that he was going to shoot up a kosher dining hall on campus and bomb the Center for Jewish Living.

The posts were made on October 28 and 29, just weeks after the Hamas attack in Israel.

Dai faces up to five years in prison, a fine of up to $250,000 and three years of supervised released when he is sentenced in federal court in Syracuse in August.
