Two juveniles have been arrested in Ithaca after they allegedly attacked another juvenile with a machete.
According to Ithaca Police, the incident took place on the 200 block of Elmira Road at around 7 p.m. on Aug. 8.
Police said that two teenagers under the age of 18 assaulted the victim, who sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the attack.
The suspects fled the scene but were stopped by officers on the 200 block of South Meadow Street. The machete was recovered at the scene.
The suspects, who are 15 and 17 years old, were taken to the Ithaca Police Department. Their names will not be released due to their age.
