The Ithaca Police Department is investigating a stabbing that took place Thursday evening.
Around 9:45 p.m., police responded to the 300 block of West Green Street to find a victim suffering from stab wounds. The victim was transported to a trauma center for treatment.
Police say the stabbing resulted from a dispute, but the suspect fled the scene before their arrival and is still at large.
