The Ithaca Police responded to a Sunday robbery of the Quik Shoppe on Third Street in Ithaca. The suspect approached the counter and asked the clerk for all the money in the register. He displayed a handgun that was tucked into his pants. The clerk gave the suspect an undetermined amount of money. The suspect fled on foot. The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’7”tall, slim build, wearing a ski-type mask, dark colored pants, jacket, and shoes. The investigation into this incident is ongoing. The Ithaca Police Department is asking anyone with information that would aid this investigation to contact the Ithaca Police Department at 607-272-3245.
