A Spencer man was arrested on Saturday, Aug. 31 after he allegedly brandished a knife at people in Ithaca.
According to Ithaca Police, 22-year-old Jared T. Manley has been charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, a Class D felony, and a misdemeanor count of menacing in the second degree.
Police said the victims approached them in the Ithaca Commons at around 1:20 a.m. on Saturday and said the suspect brandished a knife at them on South Cayuga Street.
Officers located the suspect, who was later identified as Manley, and he was positively identified by the victims. He was then arrested without incident.
Manley was arraigned in Ithaca City Court and released to appear in court at a later date.
