The Broome County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal motor vehicle accident which occurred at the intersection of Hooper Road and Watson Blvd. in the Town of Union just before 8:00pm this evening.
The accident involved two vehicles, a 2000 Suzuki sport-type motorcycle and a 2009 Honda CRV SUV.
Andrew Bullock, 24, of Apalachin who was operating the motorcycle, was transported to Wilson hospital with head injuries and was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.
The driver of the Honda CRV, Joshua Yusuf, 22, of Binghamton, and his passenger, Stacy Katala, 25, were taken to Lourdes hospital to be checked out by emergency room personnel.
Both the Suzuki motorcycle and the Honda CRV were towed from the scene.
The Sheriff’s Office reconstructed the scene; the intersection was reopened by 11:00pm.
No charges or traffic tickets have been filed at this time.
The accident is still under investigation.
