The former Executive Director of the Tioga County Boys and Girls Club in Owego was arrested on Tuesday for using the club’s credit card to make personal purchases. The Tioga County Sheriff’s Office arrested 43-year-old Valerie Demkovich of Endicott and charged her with felony grand larceny. The purchases covered a span from 2011 to late 2012 and totaled over $10,000. Demkovich was arraigned in the Village of Owego court and released pending a court appearance on February 12th. She is no longer employed at the Tioga County Boys and Girls Club.
