The Tioga County Sheriff’s Office last week arrested an Owego man for stealing a gun from a Candor home. 22-year old Samuel Blinn was taken into custody after police investigated a burglary at a Schumaker Road residence. They later found Blinn with a firearm reported stolen during the burglary. He was charged with felony possession of stolen property and arraigned in the Town of Candor. Blinn was remanded to the Tioga County Jail on $2500 bail and is due back in court on February 4th.
