A fire has destroyed an unoccupied house in Vestal. Fire crews were called to 476 Underwood Road around 2:15 Tuesday morning. Vestal Fire Chief Patrick McPherson says the home has been unoccupied and there were no utilities hooked up to the house. When crews reached the scene, the fire was fully involved. Mutual aid was called in from several different departments, including Apalachin and Campville. Broome County fire investigators were on the scene Tuesday to determine the cause of the fire.
