State Police are investigating a deadly rollover crash and oil spill in Corning. Troopers say a flat bed truck drifted onto the shoulder on Route 414 Thursday afternoon. It happened just north of Pine Hill Road. The truck overturned in a ditch, pinning 58-year-old Michael Duell, inside. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Troopers also say Duell’s truck, which was owned by Instant Heat Wood Pellets in Addison, spilled 2,500 gallons of refined soybean oil. Crews were forced to reduce traffic to one lane while they clean up the oil.
