Broome County Sheriff’s have charged a Dickinson man for possessing a bundle of heroin. Deputies responded to Castle Creek Road on a report of a suspicious incident, and discovered an occupant of a vehicle was in possession of heroin. 21-year-old Ryan Holmes has been charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree, a misdemeanor. He was released on an appearance ticket. Holmes is expected to appear in the Town of Chenango Court at a later date.
